Why go
Bo-leaf-shaped cascade near Kuruwita, about 3 km off the Ratnapura-Colombo road, with natural pools at its base. Reach by bus or tuk-tuk from Ratnapura in 30 minutes; small entrance fee, open daytime. Fullest May to September rains, but rocks are slippery then, so swim only in marked pools and skip it after heavy rain.
Best for
Families and swimmers; easy picnic waterfall 12 km from Ratnapura town
Good to know
Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province. Pair this stop with nearby places in the directory or find it pinned on the map.
Watch outs
Prices, hours and access rules change — confirm locally and treat anything undated as a lead, not a promise. Common island-wide traps (overcharging, steering, ticket games) are listed on its destination page.
Been here lately? Comment below with fresh prices or corrections — photos welcome.
Things to do

Culture to know before you go
