Why go
Softer, less built-up beach just south of Pasikuda with calm azure water in season. Walk between the two bays at low tide; tuk-tuk from Batticaloa town in about an hour. Fewer shops than Pasikuda, so carry water and snacks.
Best for
Quiet-beach seekers; golden surf-free stretch with resorts
Good to know
Batticaloa District, Eastern Province. Pair this stop with nearby places in the directory or find it pinned on the map.
Watch outs
Prices, hours and access rules change — confirm locally and treat anything undated as a lead, not a promise. Common island-wide traps (overcharging, steering, ticket games) are listed on its destination page.
